For this project, I collaborated with the film agency Four Bent Corners to create a corporate video for cosmetics giant, Coty. The video showcases Coty's's heritage, portfolio, and mission. The client provided us with a collection of archival footage dating back to the 1960s.
We opened the piece with a journey trough Coty's history. After that we progress into a sizzle reel that combined the archival footage with complementary typography, featuring statistics, values, and quotes.
The timeline was definitely the heavy lift for me. However, making typography react to footage while maintaining legibility and elegance form a challenge by itself. Sometimes you have to hold off on flashy motion to let footage breathe.
